Maternity Leave

Hello Imp Fans!
I will be on maternity leave until December 2010 (unless I can muster the time in between breast-feeding and diapering my son!) So, unfortunately, you will have to wait for the next saga of Imp. However, the wait will be worth it, I promise you. I have a whole story line planned for Imp and his friends. So, I hope everyone is having a fabulous summer, I know I am having a brand new baby boy, and I will be emailing the next installment of Imp for Christmas!
Take care all.
~Elisa :)

Baby

Hello Imp Fans! For those of you who don’t know I am expecting a baby sometime in the beginning of June. This is our first baby so, things have been a little hectic around the house. The studio where Imp used to be created is now a nursery! Needless to say, updates to the comic have been difficult as Hubby and I are preparing for the baby. I will do my best to prepare a buffer load of comics to sustain everyone before the little tike arrives but…if there are no Imps to be had…you, at least, will know what is going on!
Will there be a new baby in the comic strip? One only knows ;) But, I can say for sure that baby jokes will come through in Imp. I can hardly resist the urge to do at least a few!
All is well though, and I look forward to the new changes in my life. Never fear! Imp is not going away..he may just have to take a little hiatus as the new addition to the family comes into the world.
Thanks for your patience as always and enjoy the strip!

Kid Beowulf Book #2

rolandfrontcover

I have to call out attention and tell Imp fans about my friend’s second book that is hot off the press this past week. Alexis is the writer and creator of ‘Kid Beowulf’, a series of comic stories about a young Beowulf and his twin brother Grendal and their adventures traveling all over the mideval world. I attended WonderCon this past weekend and bought a copy of the brand new second book of the series entitled ‘The Song of Roland’. I couldn’t put it down and finished it in one night (staying up very late).

In the ‘Song of Roland’ Beowulf and his buddies travel to France and have a action pack adventure. The book has over 250 pages of legend and lore, sword fighting, humor, fun, and excitement. The artwork is whimsical with wonderfully stylized characters and magical creatures. I highly recommend the Kid Beowulf series for kids over 10 years of age and big kids like myself. Your kids might even take an interest in history after reading Beowulf’s adventures! Please take a look at the book at the Kid Beowulf website at www.kidbeowulf.com

Website Errors

Hello Imp Fans. I am having difficulty with the website lately…it seems that a few comics got lost in the midst of the internet fog so, I will try to fix the problem in the upcoming week. I am missing last Thursday’s comic from the archive and I believe one other comic that I have to track down. Be patient! I will attempt to solve the problem. In the meantime enjoy the latest and greatest comic posts!

Simon’s Cat

I was introduced to this really cute animated cat website called Simon’s Cat. There are several videos to entertain you on this site. Cat lovers and owners can really relate to these videos.
